Full Description:
Ensign Alexander Campbell. A list of baggage lost by Campbell, 2nd Battalion 71st Regiment, at the evacuation of Camden under the command of Lord Rawdon. Totalling £27 1s 6d sterling. Sworn before Deputy-Judge-Advocate Stephen P. Adye, Judge-Advocate Office, New York. Signed by A. Campbell. On the reverse is a copy of a note by Brigadier-General Alured Clark stating that the Board is of the opinion that he should be allowed 20 guineas.
