Full Description:
Richard Lorentz, Paymaster-General of Hessian Troops to Carleton. New York. That he is obliged to apply for a warrant for £10,000 sterling so that he may be enabled to pay the necessary subsistence to the Hessian troops now in the province. A sum with which the £68,000 sterling granted at previous dates, will amount to £78,000 issued here on the year's subsistence.
