[Maurice Morgann] to Captain Stephen P. Adye. Secretary's Office. Directed to signify that he is to lay before the Commander-in-Chief an account of what measures he has taken and with what effect, in consequence of the orders received to make further inquisition into the death of Joshua Huddy, and to collect evidence for the prosecution of all such as might appear to have been criminal in that transaction.
