Full Description:
Colonel Roger Morris to Lieutenant-General James Robertson. New York. Finds he is not mentioned in the allowance for forage. States that he has constantly drawn for provisions and fuel from 1779 but only drew forage for three horses until 7 December 1779 when Mr Wier, the then Commissary-General, called on him and told him there was a scarcity of forage. As he did not keep the number of horses allowed, was asked if he would discontinue drawing. Now begs his name may therefore be added to the list.
