Full Description:
Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Number 30. Warrant to pay Captain James Kerr, Paymaster to the 1st American Regiment or Queen's Rangers, the sum of £1,784 8s 8d and one half penny sterling. Being pay for the said regiment from 25 August to 24 October 1782 both days included, as per the annexed account. From which £60 17s 11d and one half penny sterling is to be detained for stoppage, also £171 8s 9d sterling for 16,458 rations of provisions issued, and £11 17s sterling for the hospital at New York.
