Full Description:
Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Number 93. Warrant to pay Captain Lud Colquhoun, paymaster to the 74th Regiment of Foot the sum of £161 12s sterling. Being subsistence for the Grenadier Company and a detachment for the Light Infantry Company of the said regiment from 25 October to 24 December 1782, both days included as per the annexed account. From which sum £60 8s 1d and half penny sterling is to be detained for 5,799 rations of provisions issued, and also £1 16s 8d for stopagges to the hospital in New York.
