[Carleton] to Sir Edmund Affleck acknowledging receipt of his letter of yesterday requesting a party of 20 men for duty on board His Majesty's sloop 'Mentor', but is unable to comply due to the weakness of the corps and the inconveniences that have arisen to the troops employed in such services. 'I therefore cannot comply with your request.'
