Full Description:
Lieutenant-Governor John Graham, Superintendent of Indian Affairs, Western Division, Charleston to Carleton. No.3. States that having served and resided in the Southern Provinces for 30 years his health is suffering, he applied for six months leave. Lieutenant-Colonel Douglas, Loyal Militia will act as his deputy. General Leslie has ordered a warrant for £1,000 for expenses of the ensuing year but an additional £2,000 is to be lodged with their agent for current expenses.
