Full Description:
Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Number 107. Warrant to pay Lieutenant Samuel D'Visme, Acting Paymaster to a detachment of 60th Regiment of Foot, the sum of £231 5s 10d sterling. Being subsistence for four colonels, 3rd Battalion of the said regiment from 25 October to 24 December 1782 inclusive, as per the annexed account. From which the sum of £80 4s 2d sterling is to be detained for 7,700 rations of provisions issued, also £6 8s 8d sterling for stoppages due the hospital in New York.
