Full Description:
Major Duncan Drummond to [ ? ]. Desires him to mention to the Commander-in-Chief that Craig means to go in the 'Warwick' to England. He pleads that His Excellency will allow him one years' pay at the rate of one dollar per diem, to pay a debt of 30s., and to be able to support himself until he can get into business. A note at the end from Major Beckwith to Major McKenzie, dated Headquarters, 14 December, states that 'the advance of twelve months is ordered by His Excellency'.
