Full Description:
Joseph Durfee, Thomas Courtney and Peter Lynch to [Carleton]. New York. In consequence of his advice, the Loyalists associated for settling at Port Roseway in Nova Scotia have appointed Messrs. Joseph Pynchon and James Dole to take the first passage to Halifax to consult with the Governor of Nova Scotia, relating to the settlement. Request his recommendation of their persons and appointment per the first good conveyance.
