Full Description:
American Loyalists. Petition. Solemn declaration and humble petition of the American Loyalists to their most august monarch George III, declaring their loyalty, their utter detestation of the attempt of his ungrateful revolted subjects, their assurance that the American subjects were not only uninjured but highly favoured, for when annual requisitions had been made on and liberally granted by European fellow subjects, they were not made nor granted by the American subjects for the protection of the English Empire, while they had cost at the commencement of the rebellion the parent country, 300 millions of New York currency. Declare their willingness to accede to such requisitions and beseech him not to withdraw his royal proctection.
