Full Description:
Brook Watson to Carleton. New York. Stating that he has in hand £3,152 3s 11d and one half penny sterling arising from stoppages for provisions, the proceeds of 500 firkins of butter sold at the public auction, and the proceeds of the brig 'Richmond' belonging to the government taken in the Chesapeake [since retaken and claimed]. Prays His Excellency's warrant to the Paymaster-General to receive the same and to grant the necessary discharges therefor.
