Full Description:
Maurice Morgan to the Deputy-Postmaster [J. Foxcroft]. In answer to the question of why he witheld the Paymaster-General's letter, reminds him that it is the king's intention that only army letters should be delivered free and that the Paymaster-General claims that this office is a military establishment. Does not wish to bring this matter again before the Commander-in-Chief unless it is made necessary by any 'unaccustomed demand'.
