Full Description:
Extract from the Connecticut Gazette. Number 997. Printed at New London, Friday 20 December 1782. Notification headed 'Boston. December 16th', informing that copies have been dispersed by the enemy to the eastern parts of this state, and was lately brought in by a vessel from the eastward, by order of the General calling for all persons of the Province of Sagadahock to work their tours on Fort George. Neglect may result in having their cattle and property destroyed. Signed by Robert Pagan, Commissary of Inhabitants, Campbell Town, Penobscot, 24 October 1782.
