Full Description:
George Rose to Carleton. Treasury Chambers. That the Lords Commissioners of the Treasury have ordered a warrant for three months full pay to be issued out of the extraordinaries of the army here to Colonel Fanning of the King's American Provincial Regiment. Who brought home dispatches from South Carolina and remains in this country by direction of the Commander-in-Chief. Acquaints him with this to prevent the money being paid a second time in America'.
