Carleton to Major-General James Paterson. New York. Number 5. Has received previous letters. Discusses the corps mentioned who are to go to Canada, the reference to Mr Shaw's memorial and the payment for the mates of the hospital. The inquiry to be made into Calbeck's memorial, payment of bat and forage money and directions with regard to Governor Parr having represented the scarcity of flour.
