Full Description:
Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Number 36. Warrant to pay Lieutenant Thomas Henderson, Paymaster to the Loyal American Regiment the sum of £1,207 4s and three quarter penny sterling. Being pay for the said regiment from 25 October to 24 December 1782, both days included as per the annexed account. From which £34 16s 11d sterling is to be detained being stoppage from the pay of the commissioned officers. Also £158 6s 10d and one half penny sterling for 15,201 rations of provisions issued and £4 15s 8d sterling for His Majesty's hospital at New York.
