Full Description:
Listing of the widows of the Provincial officers who have died in His Majesty's service in North America, with the quarterly allowances recommended for their support. Names listed under New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts Bay, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Georgia. Totalling £1,075 5s New York currency. Noted that the foregoing list of allowances are recommended to be paid quarterly commencing 1 October 1782, to the widows of the Provincial officers and the refugees, and that the lists agree with the originals delivered to the Commander-in-Chief. Signed by Beverley Robinson, Samuel Shoemaker, and Robert Alexander.
