Full Description:
Colonel Roger Morris. Notes for filling out a warrant. The sum of £4,227 14s 2d sterling, equal to £7,247 10s New York currency to enable him to pay sundry refugees the several sums against each of the names set down in the account lodged in his hands, being a quarterly allowance for the support from the 1 October to 31 December 1782 inclusive, agreeable to the recommendation of a board appointed to examine into their respective circumstances and claims for the several payments of which he is to be accountable.
