Full Description:
Lieutenant Robert Anderson, acting paymaster to 80th Regiment of Foot to Carleton. Memorial. Desiring a warrant for £1,248 16s sterling to enable him to pay for the subsistence of the British solider prisoners who are with the enemy with necessaries. He had previously written to Major Gordon for a 'pay state' of the regiment from 25 December to 23 February, to which period other corps who were prisoners had received subsistence, but before he received an answer Sir Henry Clinton was gone for Britain.
