Full Description:
Instructions for Messrs. Amos Botsford, Samuel Cummings and Frederick Hauser. As agents they are to apply themselves to discover whether a tract or tracts of land free from all disputed titles, either with the Indians or former grantees, can be found sufficient to accommodated the Loyalists and their families who shall remove hither, along with other such questions as the conditions of the terrain, neighbouring owners, and what difficulties or obstructions there are in forming new settlements. Also, agents for the settlers in Nova Scotia are listed giving 14 names. Signed by The Reverend Seabury, Appointed President, and Secretary Sampson S. Blowers Esquire.
