Full Description:
Warrants to Mr Porter on the extraordinaries. Numbers 1, 2 and 3. Number 1, was allowed him in consequence of his memorial to Sir William Howe at Halifax dated 14 April 1776, desiring that he might be placed on the same footing with the Deputy-Commissioners in England at 10s per day, which having been laid before the King was ordered for 5s per day. Number 2, is for his pay as a Commissary to the foreign troops at 10s per day, and Number 3, is for the pay of a deputy to Sir John Burgoyne at 10s per day at present not employed in America.
