Full Description:
Sir George Yonge to Carleton. War Office. Has received letters of 17 and 18 November with lists of promotions and leaves of absence enclosed, which have been laid before the king and approved. Sergeant Hutton of the 40th Regiment is placed on the '12d. list'. Transmits the Act of Parliament [Clause XIX] directing the army shall in future be cleared according to muster rolls.
