Full Description:
George Rose to General Haldimand. Treasury Chambers. Has communicated previous letters to the Lords Commissioners. Discusses the monies given to the remitters agent, the £136,000 due on the credits of former bills which are to be collected, and the further monies wanted. The decline of the issuing of £221,588 13s 2d to Messrs. Harley and Drummond, the need to only grant requisitions if they are absolutely necessary for the service of the province, and the expression in the strongest terms that money must be paid.
