Full Description:
Joshua Mills and Thomas Brown. Having been taken prisoner en route from Penobscot to New York, taken to Chatham and now returned on parole, remark on the visible change in the people of Connecticut since December 1781. They now wish for peace, are generally anxious to promote trade with New York and publicly complain of their present taxes. Signed George Beckwith.
