Full Description:
Governor John Parr to Carleton. Halifax. Acknowledges his letter [delivered] by Mr Pynchon and Mr Dole, agents for the Associated Loyalists at New York. Will do everything he can to assist; has already made provision for a larger tract of land than the Loyalists had originally applied for and is procuring boards to provide shelter after their arrival. Is awaiting authority from the Secretary of State to make land grants to the Loyalists on such conditions as they asked for.
