Peter Paumier, Commissary-General to Carleton. Memorial. Is in want of £5,345 sterling to enable him to pay the balance due to sundries from the time of his administration of the Department of the Commissary-General, for forage, store rent and sundry expenses on account of the Virginia Army agreeable to the annexed account. Noted, the above mentioned warrant when granted is to be put into the hands of William Deane Poyntz Paymaster-General, agreeable to his request made to the Board of Public accounts on 13 November 1782 and approved of by them. Second document, abstract of payments remaining yet unpaid being part of the outstanding demands of the original abstract laid before the Board of Public Accounts. Totalling £9,162 2s. 8d. sterling.
