John Livingston to Major Frederick MacKenzie, Deputy-Adjutant-General. New York. Your kind favour of yesterday, this moment came to hand. Be pleased to return His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief my sincere thanks for the addition of rent for the sugar house on Crown Street from [Pmo] May, 1782. The rent heretofore paid is received from Colonel Clarke and since at the same office from Colonel Crosby.
