Full Description:
Carleton to Poyntz. New York. Warrant to pay Mr Philip Marc, Commissary of the 3rd Regiment of Waldeck the sum of £3,333 17s 8d and one half penny sterling. Being subsistence for the said regiment from 25 June to 24 December 1782, as per the annexed account. From which £898 9s 9½d sterling is to be detained for 86,255 rations of provisions issued.
