Board of Enquiry. New York. Report on a meeting held as to the claims of soldiers of the Convention Army who have come in from the enemy and whether or not they are entitled to arrears of pay and clothing. Also appended is a list of the non- commissioned officers and soldiers of the Northern Army who have come in from the enemy and have been examined by the board, of which Major James Graham of the 37th Regiment is president, together with the opinion of the board with regard to their respective claims. 118 men are listed, along with the regiment they were drafted from, the regiment they were drafted into, and remarks. Signed by Stephen P. Adye, Deputy Judge-Advocate and others.
