Continental prisoners John Paulding, John Hyett, James Tippett, James Mandville, Richard Dovrenburg [?] to Carleton. Provost. Memorial. That by being parolled they could effect an exchange for an equal number of British prisoners held by the Americans. If not possible to parole all then would Carleton parole John Paulding to arrange the exchange.
