Christopher Lewis Lente. Account for groceries supplied to Sir Guy Carleton, amounting to £41 13s 10d, showing 8lbs of Souchon tea at 16 shillings per pound = £6 8s; 8lbs of cheaper tea at 10 shillings a pound = £4; 1 bottle of capers 10 shillings; 1 Yorkshire ham at 3 shillings a pound = £2 13s 3d; 3lbs of pearl barley at 2 shillings = 6 shillings; 28lbs of coffee at 2 shillings per pound = £2 16s; 1½lbs of black and white pepper at 8 shillings per pound = 12 shillings.
