Full Description:
Thomas Aston Coffin to Carleton. New York. Has in his hands the sum of £684 6s sterling which was received for sundry stores sold and delivered for the use of the troops as per the annexed account. He therefore prays a warrant directing the Deputy-Paymaster-General to receive the same and grant the necessary discharges. On the reverse of the document, Number 2, Carleton's warrant to Poyntz requiring him to receive the said amount from Coffin.
