Full Description:
P Wemyss, Acting Secretary to the Board of Accounts. Extract of minutes of the Board of Public Accounts dated New York, 6 March 1783. With regard to the expenditure in the Commander-in-Chief's Secretary's Office, particularly on account of printing charged by Alexander Cameron between 15 May and 31 December 1782 amounting to £295 5s 8d. Having compared it with similar accounts by Rivington, they observe that on the same principles, Cameron's accounts would have been £102 13s 4d and recommend payment for that sum.
