Full Description:
Digby to Carleton. New York. Encloses letter. Means to send the 'Hussar' galley to Captain Steel's assistance althought the only effectual means of checking Mr Storey's ravages would be by gunboats of equal force. If the gunboats under the command of Mr Blanchard which you permitted me to direct to be fitted were to be stationed at Denises as was then intended, I believe it would tend more to keep these plunderers in awe than anything I can think of.
