Full Description:
Robert Morse, Chief Engineer. Report upon Henry Carmer's petition. This has been referred to him in the first instant. That the store house in question has had intrenching tools and other stores in it since the troops took possession of New York. No agreement appears for rent. That about a month ago Mr Carmer put in a claim for rent which was the first intimatum that any rent was expected. The storehouse being by no means necessary was ordered to be emptied and delivered up to him.
