Full Description:
Carleton to Sir George Yonge. New York. Three letters. Number 24, transmits a half yearly certificate of general and staff officers on the establishment in North America from 25 June to 24 December 1782. Number 25, transmits monthly returns of British and Provincial Forces under his command, along with lists of officers who are absent from their regiments. Number 26, encloses a list of promotions and leaves of absence granted, which includes James Putnam and Lieutenant-Colonel Crosbie.
