Full Description:
Governor Alexander Martin. State of North Carolina. Certifies that the annexed paper signed by A Nash, is a true copy of a flag granted by His Late Excellency, Governor Nash, and that John Taylor Esquire is and was a justice of the peace for the County of Orange at the time of taking the written depositions. Also that [Garratt] Esquire, was a justice of the peace for the County of Beaufort at the time. That all due faith and credit is to be paid to such there attestations as written. Signed by Martin, and by His Excellency's command, countersigned by Henderson.
