Full Description:
State of cash, 31 March 1783. By cash received for bills of exchange drawn at Charleston in November and December and here from 1 January to this day, totalling £248,785 5s 0d. To balance due to Gordon, Biddulph and Gordon the 31 December 1782 totalling £50,773 10s 2d. To account of payments made on account of subsistence and extraordinaries to this day, totalling £196,000. Balance due to Messrs. Harley and Drummond, totalling £2,021 14s 10d. Signed by Gordon, Biddulph and Gordon.
