Full Description:
Lieutenant-Colonel Thompson. [Note in 3rd person], not dated or signed. Discusses how he will go to the West Indies and the arrangements as to his rank. Hopes that the attaching four companies of Light Infantry and a company of Artillery to the King's American Dragoons as proposed will be no bar to the establishment of that regiment as British Light Dragoons. Begs that the debris of the cavalry of three other Provincial regiments may be turned over to these.
