Seconded officers of the Provincial Forces to Carleton. New York. Memorial. That prior to entering the army at the beginning of the war many had valuable estates and lucrative professions, and now do not have the means of maintaining themselves and their families without government support. Therefore pray for grants and permanent subsistence according to their rank equal to that which the officers now serving with their battalions are to have on the reduction of their corps.
