Full Description:
Major William Anstruther, Royal Garrison Battalion to [Carleton]. Bermuda. Requesting him to continue his benevolence to an unfortunate old soldier by appointing his two boys, Phillip and William, to any corps he may think fit so that they may be in line at a future period to be of use to their country and to revenge the misfortunes of their father who has lost three brothers in the rebellion as well as land &c.
