Full Description:
Nathaniel Dickinson to Carleton. New York. Memorial. Loss of his valuable estate in Deerfield, [New Hampshire] as a result of his loyalty which also obliged him to seek protection of the British army in Boston in 1775. Has been employed six years in the commissariat. Is about to leave for Nova Scotia to settle there with his family. Asks either to continue in public employment or be granted such sum of money as will enable him to settle in Nova Scotia.
