Full Description:
Brigadier-General Montfort Browne to Maurice Morgann. Post at Denys's. His nephew, Edmond Henn, gatefully accepts the appointment as ensign and intends to make his acknowledgement in person at the first opportunity. Regrets his health has prevented him from personally paying his respects to Carleton. Asks for an answer to his letter of 20 March. His appointment as Colonel will be found in Sir William Howe's general orders a few days previous to 24 November 1776.
