The situation of Henry Seton, lately captain in the British Chasseurs. New York. Gives a detailed history of events from 1776 when he left Barbados with cargo for the British troops in Boston to his capture en route to Georgia to raise recruits and imprisonment for two years during which time the corps was drafted and he was accidently overlooked. Has since received half pay as lieutenant, which Sir Henry Clinton had said was only meant as a prelude to something better soon. Asks for some provision in view of his complicated misfortunes. Followed by certificate from Lieutenant-Colonel Emmerick.
