Full Description:
Daniel Dulany Addison, Captain of the Maryland Loyalists, to Carleton. Memorial. That when young he went to England with his father and joined the British army which he left to return to New York for reasons of which Carleton is already aware; the instability of the Provincial Establishment, on which he fears he has lowest seniority in, may mean the loss of his only means of livelihood. Asks that the rank he now holds in the Provincial Army may be confirmed to him on the British Establishment; if this cannot be done by Carleton asks to be be recommended home for that purpose.
