Colonel Roger Morris, a member of His Majety's Council for the Province of New York, to Carleton. New York. Memorial. Is a native of England and has served the Crown for eight years without a break; gives details of his military and civil service, his personal financial circumstances and the damage done to his property, Morris House on New York island. Hopes that, as Carleton will be consulted about the provision to be made to Loyalists for loss of property, he will consider his (Morris's) situation as deserving.
