Full Description:
Lord North to Sir Guy Carleton, Commander-in-Chief. Whitehall. [Document 24 pages]. Discussion which includes how he will not be replying to points made in Carleton's detailed dispatches as he will be addressing him in a few days time, and how it is the king's determination that all foreign troops in his pay serving in New York and Nova Scotia shall return to Europe as soon as possible with transport arrangments. The king's approval of the assistance Carleton gave to the Loyalists in the removal of their persons to Nova Scotia, along with his sending an additional force to Bermuda for its defence.
