Full Description:
Vessels Boyen to Sir Guy Carleton. New York. Memorial. Has been unable to work due to his eye sight for which Sir Henry Clinton had allowed him one shilling per day plus rations for himself and his wife. Has no means of support but would be able to work in Quebec and prays some assistance to get there. Noted on the reverse that the memorialist may have a passage to Quebec on application to the Commissary-General, by order of the Commander-in-Chief, signed by Deputy-Adjutant-General Frederick MacKenzie, dated 27 April 1783.
